Quick answer
The low posture ends up holding the high goods. Humility joined to the fear of the LORD is the soil where riches, honor, and life tend to grow. The grain of the world, not a wage agreement.

The verse is nearly a list: by humility and the fear of the LORD, riches and honor and life, the exact freight wisdom carried in her two hands at 3:16. It belongs to the book's long argument that the low road runs uphill: before honor is humility (15:33, 18:12). As always, this is tendency under God's government, not contract; the humble believer of modest means has not failed the verse. What it rules out is the opposite route: grasping at riches, honor, and life directly, pride's method, which this book has watched walk off a cliff too many times to recommend (16:18).
